The BRIGHT Group has three locations in Germany: its headquarters are in Böblingen, with two additional locations in Munich and Esslingen. Our Munich location stands for technical excellence, close proximity to customers, and the realization of sophisticated and innovative vehicle projects. We have been present in the Bavarian capital since 2024 and are systematically expanding the location to sustainably strengthen our position in southern Germany and lay the foundation for future growth and innovative development projects.
Within the BRIGHT Group, Munich plays a central role as a specialized technical hub for complex vehicle projects. In particular, for customers in the automotive and defense industries, as well as for government, specialty, and special-purpose vehicles, and for specialized military applications, Munich forms part of the core operational center for development, modification, and technical implementation.
With strong industry partners, an international infrastructure, an excellent research environment, and a high concentration of talent, the location offers ideal conditions for technology-driven development. Above all, our close proximity to our customers enables short communication channels, quick response times, and direct work on actual vehicles—a decisive advantage for our projects.
Practical technical expertise with vehicles
BRIGHT started in Munich with a small, highly qualified team and its first projects in the fields of measurement technology, prototype modifications, and government vehicles.
From the very beginning, the focus was on hands-on technical work directly on the vehicle:
rather than purely theoretical planning, the emphasis was on modification, installation, test preparation, and system integration.
